DRIVING LESSONS TROWBRIDGE

VOLUNTARY CODE OF PRACTICE

Able Driver Training follows the DSA voluntary code of practice for driving instructors. If you require a full copy of this code contact the DSA directly. If you have any cause for complaint, please speak to your driving instructor. If you are still unhappy then the code of practice will give you information regarding the next step to take.

DRIVING LICENCE

You must hold a current valid driving licence, provisional or full and be able to produce it on or before the ﬁrst lesson and at any time thereafter.

PAYMENT AND METHODS OF PAYMENT

Payment should always be made in cash or by cheque. Where an intensive course or discounted block booking has been made, payment must be made in full on the ﬁrst lesson. Please note all fees paid for lessons and courses are non-refundable in the event that you decide to cancel the course or the lesson. Lesson charges are subject to continual review and are liable to change without notice.

TUITION

Tuition will be on a one to one basis.

INTENSIVE COURSES

The client will be required to have completed and passed the theory/hazard perception test prior to commencement of the course.

CANCELLATION OF BOOKINGS

Please give us 48 hours notice of any time change or cancellation of lesson. A cancellation fee of £10 may be charged for cancellations where less than 48 hours notice has been given, whilst cancellation within a 24 hour period may result in full lesson payment. This will be at the sole discretion of the driving instructor and is due to the effect that cancellation has on the instructors’ livelihoods. Cancellation could also be denying another client the opportunity for a lesson.

CAR INSURANCE

Tuition cars are fully insured for tuition and driving test with a reputable insurer and the relevant certiﬁcate of insurance will be made available for inspection upon request.
